Create A Remote Control Project To Landscape Your Yard With RC Construction Toys

Everybody wants a great looking yard. And what better time to start your landscaping than now, while the spring planting season is young. Design this fun remote control project to shape your property. And show off your RC construction toys skills to your neighbors at the same time.

Sounds like one entertaining weekend – or more – doesn’t it?

To get the most pleasure from your RC hobby for this project map it out on a blueprint first. If you have a plan on paper you’ll find the results of your construction efforts more satisfying. Approaching this job without a blueprint promises an un-sculpted look.

Your finished work might look rather strange if you don’t know how it will appear when the project is complete. Of course you might want that, and the neighbors would talk about your yard’s appearance all summer long either way. I suppose it depends on how you want them to think about your gardening skills.

Even if you want some type of weird design to your landscaping you’ll find it easier to shape when you have a blueprint to follow.

In your plan include the locations of any trees you’ll plant for shade. Draw out the shapes of your flower gardens, and scale them to size.

If you’re into building your own remote control models rig up an RC lawn mower, and turn this activity into summer long playtime.

Once your blueprint is finished bring out the RC construction toys, and go to work. If you have friends who operate construction equipment invite them to join the fun.

Your first landscaping tool is the excavator. It does all the digging for your project.

Slice the sod from your yard’s surface, and place it in a pile to the side. Do this for each spot where you’ll plant flowers, and trees. Use the excavators to form the rough shape of each planting area.

After you remove the sod start digging your flowerbeds to make room for fresh planting soil.

Dig the holes where you’ll plant the trees. Make sure you dig deep enough so the roots have plenty of room to spread out.

Power up your front loaders, and load the sod onto waiting semi truck flatbeds. Haul the sod to low spots, and use the loaders to off load, and position, that sod.

Use the front loaders to fill the dump truck beds with the extra dirt, and move it to its new home.

Next haul your new planting soil to the flowerbeds in the dump trucks, and dump it into place.

Deliver the flowers and trees to their planting positions on the semi truck flatbeds, and unload them with forklifts.

Place the plants into their holes with excavators and front loaders. Then use the excavators and front loaders to fill in the holes around those plants with the planting soil.

When you finish your remote control landscaping project you’ll have a yard to fill you with pride. And a yard that looks like you worked extra hard to design and create.

But you won’t feel like you worked all that hard because as far as you’re concerned you just had loads of fun with your RC construction toys.
