Create A Remote Control Submarine And Boating Ocean Area With Your RC Construction Toys

For your remote control submarine you’ll need a body of water for sub-aquatic operations. When the time comes to dig your ocean area put the RC construction toys to work – and extend your radio control fun.

Design this area large enough to operate surface vessels also. That way you can invite all your remote control boat friends over, and stage a big boating event day.

Lay your project thoughts out on paper, and draw a blueprint of your completed aquatic center. You’ll want a pond that’s at least twenty feet in diameter. That gives you plenty of sailing room.

Consider making it larger to accommodate the high-speed boats, and racing events. Turn your design into an oval shape for hydroplane, and pylon races.

Decide how much depth you need for your submersibles. Look at the signal range of all the submarines you’ll operate in your little ocean. You don’t want your water deeper than the radio range.

For the most remote control submarine pleasure build your project with transparent walls. That way you can watch your subs as you explore your ocean floor.

Install your pond in an elevated area. Placing a walkway around the pond allows visitors to watch the submarines. Install platforms and bleachers at the surface level. When you hold events invite the neighborhood to enjoy the action. The local kids get a special kick from watching radio control boats race around.

Dig your pond with the excavators. Don’t dig the bottom at a level depth. Give your submarine operators navigational obstacles with a multi-level bottom of caverns, drop-offs, pits, and ravines.

As you remove the dirt with the excavators scoop it up with the front loaders. Drive the loaders to the waiting dump trucks, and empty the loader buckets of dirt into the dump beds. Haul the dirt to a staging area for use on other projects later.

Deliver your building materials to the construction site with the semi-truck flatbeds. Off load your materials with the forklifts, and lift the materials into place with your cranes.

Dirt works okay for the floor of your ocean, but dirt might make your water muddy. Your visitors, and RC operators, can’t see the subs through muddy water. Think about “pouring” a cement floor with remote control cement mixers. Install a swimming pool filtration system, and keep your operating waters clean and see through.

Once you have your ocean center project built dream up some boat races, and underwater competitions.

Send out a boating challenge to all your ocean-going friends. Plan a cookout, and make a whole day of radio control fun.

Build this project with your RC construction toys. Give yourself hours of relaxing playtime with your remote control submarines, sailing and cruising yachts, and speedboats.
