Use Your RC Construction Toys And Create A Battleground For Military Model War Games

When it’s time for war you’ll want a lifelike battleground where you can operate your military remote control models. Consider modeling your battlefield after the beaches of Normandy, and stage a D-Day type invasion. For added pleasure you can build your mental creation with RC construction toys.

Draw your field of battle scene on paper first. You’ll want an ocean for the ships, a beach for landing the troops, hills beyond the beach for defending troop and gun placements, and combat areas for the tanks beyond the hills.

Once you have your blueprint completed, and a build site selected, start clearing the land for your battle scene.

Dig the ocean area with excavators. Start with an area a couple feet deep, and climb your digging gradually shallower as you approach the beach area. This phase of your construction project helps grow your skills at operating the excavator bucket as you sculpt a gradual incline onto shore.

As you dig your ocean haul the excess dirt away in the dump trucks. Move it across your beach area. You’ll use it when you form the hills and bunker spaces for gun placements.

Shape your beach area into an inclining space also. Haul in the sand for the beach with semi trucks. Unload the semis with front loaders. Transfer the sand to dump trucks, and spread it out to create your beach.

Deliver the barbwire on semi flatbeds, and unload it with RC construction loaders. Then string it out along the beach so the landing troops must crawl through it.

Next pile up the dirt for your hills along the mainland side of your beach. Separate the hills far enough apart to leave room for tanks and other military vehicles to move from the beach to and from the mainland.

After the hills are in place use cranes to lift the building materials for the defense bunkers. Next install the gun placements.

Beyond the hills use front loaders to roughly level stretches of ground for the defending tank divisions. You don’t want this so smooth that it doesn’t resemble a natural landscape. As you clear the area use the loader buckets to deposit piles of dirt around for navigating obstacles.

Now your battle scene is ready for action. Get your military RC friends together for war play.

Assemble the defending tanks in the grounds behind the hills to back up the bunkers.

Sail in with the battleships, cruisers, destroyers, and aircraft carriers. Start with a naval bombardment of the bunker defenses in the hills behind the beach.

Launch the fighter planes, and stage dog fights in the skies above the beach. Strafe the bunkers, and the tanks that hide behind the hills.

Fly the bombers in to drop their payloads on the defending troops.

Move the tanks through the hills to the beach to fire on the landing troops.

You’ll have hours of radio control fun with your battleground, and the fun starts with the construction project.

With RC construction toys you can build a variety of remote control activity layouts. This battleground project lets you create war games to operate all your military models.
