Remote Control Trucks And Buggies Make Great Models For RC Fun During Dry Hot Weather

With no recent rain, and none in the forecast, the ground is super dry. And when the temperatures are up any movement across that ground creates a cloud of dust. That makes ideal conditions for running the buggies and remote control trucks, especially the monsters.

If you don’t want to pay high water bills your boats are on the RC shelf for the time being. All the water evaporated from your boat pond some time ago. And without the hose running fresh water into that pond there’s no surface to float those boats on.

But your monster trucks are just right for hot, dry weather conditions. And the buggy designs work great for the high heat too.

Take the reins off your imagination, and you can dream up a bunch of different monster truck and buggy activities. Invite the neighborhood to watch the fun.

Find an area bare of grass and send your vehicles flying across it. See how high you can send a dust column spurting into the air.

Look for a piece of land that has rough terrain. That gives you the opportunity for a Baja-type competition. Test your RCs durability, and construction strength.

Build some mountains and hills to scale. Set up some hill climbing, and mountain climbing action.

Form a jumbled pile of monster truck sized boulders, and go rock crawling.

Stage racing competitions with your remote control truck and buggy friends. Pit one model against another in some drag races. Put all the vehicles on the track, and race them around an oval.

Don’t forget the monster semi trucks. Set up some novelty events with the semis, and give your audience a real thrill.

Create some races that pit electric models against NITRO models. See which power source gives the highest speeds.

Race monster pickup truck against semi monster truck, and race them both against the buggies. See how fast the semis are. Find out if their weight slows them down compared to the buggies and pickups.

Build some ramps, and watch how far the pickups and buggies fly through the air. Try a semi monster on the ramps. Measure the flying distances of each model against the other. Judge the vehicles for their landings. Which ones land most accurately on four wheels? Which models crash on their sides as they come down? Or take a nosedive.

Get all your RC friends together for the competitions. Make this an all day thing. Have a cookout for the neighborhood. Turn it into a radio control event block party.

See how far your imagination reaches. What kind of RC activities can you think of for fun on a hot summer day? You’ll have fun even during the time you spend planning these events.

Just because it’s hot doesn’t mean you can’t have some RC fun. All you need is to set your imagination roaming as you gaze over your remote control trucks and buggies. Your mind will find all kinds of playtime activities to get your RC juices flowing.
